Information generated when you use the Service
- Device and connection information, usage records, error logs, and security logs.
- Location-related information when you grant permission.
- Connection information and call metadata needed for video calls.
2. How we use personal information
We use collected information to manage accounts, recommend nearby content and people, apply post visibility settings, provide messaging and video calls, handle reports and blocks, prevent misuse, keep the Service secure and reliable, respond to inquiries, and improve the Service. If these purposes change, we will give advance notice and follow any required procedures.
3. Location information and private areas
Nezzi does not display your live location or exact coordinates to other users. Location information is converted into a general neighborhood or nearby area for use in the Service. You can turn location permission on or off, choose who sees your content, and mark places such as your home, workplace, or school as private areas.
Private areas are excluded from visible visit history and activity. Technical measures cannot eliminate every possibility that someone could infer a location, so we recommend checking whether a photo or post reveals a specific place before sharing it.
4. Retention and use period
As a rule, we delete personal information without undue delay when its collection and use purposes have been fulfilled or when a user deletes their account. Information that must be kept for legal compliance, dispute handling, misuse prevention, or safety may be stored separately for a defined period. Specific retention periods will be disclosed at launch based on the data actually processed and applicable law.
5. Third-party sharing and service providers
Nezzi does not sell your personal information to third parties without your consent. We may engage external providers for cloud hosting, message delivery, identity verification, and customer support. Where required by law, we will disclose the providers and their roles and oversee their handling of information. We may also share information when permitted by law in response to a legal request or an urgent threat to life or safety.
6. Your rights and choices
- You may request access to, correction or deletion of, or a halt to the processing of your personal information.
- You can change location, camera, photo, and microphone permissions in your device settings.
- You can adjust the audience for each post and the information shown on your profile.
- You can request account deletion through the in-app process.
You may still use the Service if you decline certain permissions, although features that depend on them may be unavailable.
7. Protecting personal information
Nezzi applies reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including access controls, protection of data in transit, log monitoring, vulnerability checks, and least-privilege access. If a data breach occurs, we will notify users and relevant authorities and take appropriate action as required by applicable law.
8. Children's personal information
The Service is not intended for children below the minimum age set by applicable law. If we learn that we collected information from a child below that age without a guardian's consent, we will delete the information and take necessary action.
9. Changes to this Policy and contact
If this Policy changes, we will announce the effective date and main changes within the Service or through another suitable method. Privacy questions, rights requests, and reports may be submitted through the in-app support center. The official privacy officer and contact details will be added to this Policy before the Service's formal launch.
